Factory Manager - Seafood Processing

Location: Tuticorin, Tamilnadu

We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to lead end-to-end operations of our seafood processing facility. The role involves overseeing production, quality, compliance, and overall plant efficiency while ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare business plan and define parameters for achieving the same.
• Manage raw material procurement, processing, and production planning.
• Ensure quality control, hygiene, and food safety compliance
• Oversee freezing, cold storage (-18 C), and inventory management.
• Take/ book export orders as per raw material availability and complete the orders on time.
• Coordinate shipments, documentation, and export processes.
• Operational and Documentation compliance as per ISO, FSSAI, BRC, IFS, BAP, ASC standards
• Monitor plant, maintenance, performance, costing, and operational efficiency
• Lead operation teams, enforce SOPs, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Ordering and maintaining inventory of packing material

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Food Technology, Fisheries, or related field /MSC Marine Biology
• 15+ years of experience in seafood/food processing industry
• Strong knowledge of production, cold chain, and export procedures
• Leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
