They are urgently looking for Factory Manager to oversee the complete operations of our manufacturing plant Near Vasai / Palghar

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for Production, Quality, Maintenance, Manpower management, Process Improvement, & overall Plant Efficiency. The candidate should have strong leadership skills & hands-on experience in managing manufacturing operations.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate Engineer in Mechanical / Production Engineering
• Minimum 10 + years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations, with significant experience in a managerial role.
• Previous experience , in Machine shop with High-Precision CNC Machining, Forging, Casting, Pressure Testing, & strict Quality Compliance
• Strong experience in plant management, production, quality & manpower

handling.

• Knowledge of SOPs, ISO, Quality Management & Continuous Improvement

practices.

• Strong leadership, decision-making & problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple departments & handle operational challenges

independently.

• Experience in labor management & conflict resolution will be preferred.
• Strong communication & team-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall functioning of the manufacturing plant, including Production,

Quality, Maintenance, Stores, HR & Man Management.

• Plan & Monitor production activities to ensure timely completion of targets &

optimum utilization of resources.

• Develop & implement SOPs & standard processes across manufacturing

functions.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, ISO procedures, safety regulations &

company policies.

• Take overall responsibility for Quality Control & ensure products meet the

required quality standards.

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency & cost optimization.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team to ensure proper functioning & preventive

maintenance of machinery.

• Manage & monitor manpower requirements, attendance, discipline, productivity

& workforce-related issues.

• Handle labor-related matters & maintain a positive & productive work

environment.

• Resolve inter-departmental conflicts & ensure smooth coordination between

departments.

• Monitor plant performance through KPIs, MIS & regular operational reviews.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean / Six Sigma practices

where applicable.

• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety & regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with senior management & provide regular updates on production,

quality, manpower, maintenance & plant performance.

• Identify operational risks & take corrective & preventive actions.
• Lead & motivate the plant team to achieve production, quality, delivery &

efficiency targets.
