Factory Maintenance Manager

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.

Experience: Proven experience in a similar role in a reputed plastics conversion company producing not less than 1,000 tonnes per month.

Requirements & Responsibilities

• Hands-on maintenance expertise in advanced blown film extrusion, printing, slitting, bag-making and injection moulding machines.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Knowledge of extruders, gearboxes, heating systems, dosing equipment, corona treaters and winding/tension controls.
• Experience with motors, drives, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors and automation.
• Maintain compressors, air dryers, chillers, cooling towers, generators, pumps and other factory utilities.
• Lead new projects, including planning, erection, installation and commissioning of new plants and machinery.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on equipment layout, utility connections, trials and production handover.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance, root-cause analysis and planned shutdowns.
• Manage maintenance teams, critical spares, budgets and technical records.
• Achieve maintenance KPIs, minimise downtime and implement energy-saving and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 systems.
