Job Overview

PhysicsWallah is looking for an experienced Facility Manager to manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and overall upkeep of our studio facility in Pune. The ideal candidate should be proactive, organized, and capable of coordinating with multiple internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth studio operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facility operations and ensure the studio is maintained in a clean, safe, and functional condition.
• Oversee housekeeping, security, maintenance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility-related services.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for timely maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor and manage facility-related expenses, purchase requirements, and vendor bills.
• Conduct regular inspections of the studio and proactively identify maintenance or safety issues.
• Ensure uninterrupted availability of essential utilities and services.
• Coordinate with studio, production, IT, and administration teams for operational requirements.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, AMC contracts, inventory, and facility-related documentation.
• Handle emergency situations and ensure compliance with safety and workplace guidelines.
• Support setup and operational requirements for shoots, recordings, events, and other studio activities.

Requirements

• Graduate/Diploma in Facility Management, Operations, Administration, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a studio, office, media, production, or similar environment.
• Strong vendor management and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, housekeeping, and general maintenance.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace will be an added advantage.
