Job Description: Facilities & Administration Manager

Role Summary

Piramal Art Foundation is seeking a Facilities & Administration Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of AFAL, a multi-storey museum and cultural institution in Delhi. This is an operations-focused role responsible for ensuring the building remains safe, functional, well-maintained, and ready for visitors, staff, artists, and public programmes.

Role-type: This is an on-site position. Candidate will be required to live in the premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the AFAL campus.
• Coordinate maintenance of electrical, plumbing, AC, lift, carpentry, civil works, and utilities.
• Co-ordinate with two elderly artists, who live on-site, for the daily workings of the institution.
• Supervise housekeeping, security, and vendor teams.
• Maintain facility logs, maintenance schedules, and issue trackers.
• Coordinate repair works and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs).
• Ensure visitor amenities and public spaces remain operational.
• Support exhibition installations, events, and public programmes.
• Report operational issues and recommend improvements.
• Co-ordinate with two elderly artists, who live on-site, for the daily workings of the institution.

Candidate Profile

• 4-6 years' experience in facilities, estate, or building management.
• Strong vendor and maintenance coordination skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Comfortable working in a cultural institution or heritage campus.
• Comfortable living and working on-site.
• Delhi-based candidates preferred.
