1. Job Summary

Gopalan Enterprises is looking for an experienced Facade Project Manager – Execution with a minimum of 10 years of experience

in facade execution for large-scale commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in facade installation, site

execution, project planning, contractor management, quality control, safety compliance, and coordination with consultants and

project teams. The candidate will manage facade execution from site preparation through installation, inspection, testing, and final

handover, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Facade Project Execution

• Manage and supervise facade execution activities for commercial buildings in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project

requirements.

• Oversee installation of curtain walls, aluminium glazing, structural glazing, ACP cladding, aluminium windows, and other applicable

facade systems.

• Monitor daily site progress and ensure work follows the approved project schedule.
• Coordinate with facade contractors, subcontractors, installation teams, and site engineers.
• Resolve site-level technical and execution challenges with consultants and design teams.

B. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare and monitor facade execution plans, work schedules, and manpower deployment plans.
• Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of facade activities.
• Identify potential delays and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate material delivery, equipment availability, and installation sequencing.

C. Technical Coordination & Drawing Review

• Review facade shop drawings, construction drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, facade consultants, MEP teams, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure coordination of facade interfaces with structural elements, waterproofing, fire-stopping, and MEP services.
• Monitor drawing approvals, material submittals, mock-ups, and technical clearances before execution.

D. Quality Control & Testing

• Ensure facade installation complies with approved quality standards, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Coordinate inspections, mock-up approvals, and applicable facade performance tests.
• Monitor workmanship, alignment, tolerances, sealing, glazing, anchoring, and waterproofing.
• Ensure timely closure of quality observations, non-conformance reports, and site inspection comments.
• Maintain quality documentation and inspection records.

E. Contractor & Vendor Management

• Manage facade contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and installation teams.
• Monitor contractor performance, manpower productivity, and work quality.
• Coordinate material procurement, fabrication schedules, delivery, and installation activities.
• Review work progress and support verification of contractor bills and quantities with the commercial team.

F. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to site safety procedures during facade installation, including work at height, lifting operations, and material

handling.

• Coordinate with the safety team on permits, access systems, scaffolding, and personal protective equipment.

G. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Track progress against milestones and report delays, risks, and corrective actions.
• Maintain records of inspections, material approvals, site instructions, and execution progress.
• Coordinate with project leadership to resolve issues affecting cost, quality, safety, and timelines.

3. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in facade execution, preferably in large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Proven experience managing facade installation and execution teams at commercial project sites.
• Strong understanding of curtain wall systems, structural glazing, aluminium glazing, ACP cladding, and other facade systems.
• Experience in contractor coordination, project scheduling, quality control, and site execution management.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.

4. Required Skills

• Strong project management and site execution capabilities.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Knowledge of facade installation methods, materials, and construction sequencing.
• Ability to manage contractors, subcontractors, manpower, and site resources.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office and project planning tools such as MS Project or equivalent.

6. Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in commercial buildings, IT parks, office complexes, shopping malls, and large-scale mixed-use developments is

preferred.

• Experience independently managing facade execution at large commercial project sites.
• Candidates with expertise in curtain walls, structural glazing, aluminium systems, and ACP cladding will be preferred.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, architects, contractors, and project management teams.
• Strong focus on execution, quality, safety, productivity, and timely project delivery.
