Core Responsibilities & Duties

Common:

• Work under consultative mentorship.

• Maintain 5S in the respective work area.

Specific:

• Select specific CAGs/schematics for fabrication by referring to the baseline and lay the same on the form board.
• Hands on experience in Wiring harness fabrication with knowledge in various cable finishing tools and techniques such as crimp, solder, splicing, potting, sleeving, printing, Connectorization etc.
• Knowledge of Wire harness components and manufacturing process used in the cable industry is a must.
• Knowledge of Wire Harness in Process Inspection stages.
• Inspect and confirm that the right material is received in the kits, as per the stated BOM and revision.
• Fabricate and self-inspect the products as per Built to Print (BTP), assembly data, using the right tools, specifications and process.
• Complete the IQMS production transactions in real time as per the job route plans.
• Maintain digital evidence of the products specific to each step of operations (video / pictures).
• Maintain tools, equipment and measuring instruments in order, ensure usability and calibration expiration
• Identify, segregate and report non-conformances / discrepancies on parts and products during verification of kits, fabrication and testing.
• Actively participate in functional and cross functional discussions related to product and process non-conformances.
• Identify, plan and implement process improvements (Kaizen).
• Refer and adhere to the safety requirements specific to operations and ensure zero FOD.
• Elimination of all waste” in production.
