Fabricator - Sheet Metal

Role & responsibilities

• Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components for medical equipment
• Fabrication of Operation Theatre equipment and structures
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings and measurements
• Cutting, bending, fitting and assembling sheet metal components
• TIG/MIG welding and other fabrication processes
• Ensure proper dimensions, alignment and finishing of fabricated components
• Maintain required quality standards and production schedules
• Coordinate with the production and quality teams
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-10 years of relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication
• Experience in medical equipment / hospital equipment / stainless steel fabrication will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
• Knowledge of welding, grinding, cutting, bending and fitting
• Good attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
