Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer with a strong background in stainless steel fabrication. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SS304/SS316 tanks, vessels, structural assemblies, and process equipment. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, shop floor execution, quality, manpower management, and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily production activities.
• Manage fabrication of SS tanks, vessels, skids, platforms and structures.
• Read fabrication and GA drawings.
• Coordinate with Design, Planning, Purchase, Stores and Quality.
• Prepare production plans and monitor progress.
• Supervise fit-up, welding, grinding, polishing and assembly.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines and materials.
• Maintain production reports.
• Ensure quality, safety and timely delivery.
• Resolve production issues.

Required Technical Skills

• Knowledge of SS304 & SS316 materials.
• Tank and structural fabrication.
• TIG, MIG and Arc welding.
• Welding symbols and WPS.
• Drawing reading and BOM understanding.
• Cutting, bending, rolling, drilling, grinding and polishing.
• Production planning and scheduling.
• Quality inspection and dimensional checking.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 38 years of relevant fabrication experience.
• Experience in Dairy/Food/Pharma/Process equipment preferred.
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
