Fabric Merchandiser

We are seeking a high-energy, result-oriented Fabric Merchandiser to drive commercial execution and production planning for our new Project at Santej. The ideal candidate blends solid technical knowledge of fabric processing with sharp business acumen, strong numerical aptitude, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Manage end-to-end fabric merchandising from sampling, costing, and capacity planning to bulk production and OTIF delivery.
• Process Coordination: Work closely with PPC, and plant teams to resolve processing challenges (dyeing, finishing, defects)
• Commercial & Financial Control: Perform cost analysis, margin tracking, yield optimization, and inventory management to maximize product profitability.
• Client Engagement: Liaise with domestic and international brands/buyers to handle commercial requirements, product development, and technical queries.

Requirements & Key Traits

• Education & Experience: Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering; 58 years of experience in woven fabric merchandising/processing.
• Technical Mastery: In-depth understanding of woven fabric processing, continuous dyeing, and specialized finishes.
• Key Traits: Exceptionally strong with numbers, business-minded, self-driven go-getter, and strong communicator.
