F22 LABS - Software Engineer - Full Stack

About The Role Join a lean, five-person engineering team building AI agents for finance from reconciliations to work that's never been automated before. You'll work across the full stack: platform infrastructure, AI/agent engineering, and product.

You'll Work On Things Like

• Building durable agent workflows that can pause, wait days for input, and resume exactly where they left off.
• Model routing deciding when to use an LLM vs. a VLM and building evals for every agent before it ships.
• Core product primitives that don't exist yet, like an agent-to-human "inbox" and a spreadsheet built from scratch.

Tech Stack

• React, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Vercel AI SDK all in a single TypeScript monorepo. No prior experience with this specific stack required we're hiring for engineering strength, not tool familiarity.

What We're Looking For

• 7 to 8 years of experience building customer-facing products at a company with a high engineering bar.
• A track record of owning complex, end-to-end features not just incremental work.
• Full-stack ability, or strong fundamentals that transfer quickly across a stack.
• High ownership: you can drive a feature from idea to shipped with minimal oversight.
• Genuine excitement about AI and agents.
• Startup experience, or equivalent high-bar environment. (ref:hirist.tech)
