Job Description: Exteriors Design Engineer (3-5 Years exp.)

Mandatory Skills –

• Catia V5, Team center
• Knowledge of all exterior components in passenger vehicle
• Ability to Design the Exterior components considering the packaging area, which includes selection of Material /material grade, Material Properties; Thickness.
• Design for Manufacturability and Assembly.
• Sheetmetal and Plastics Design experience.
• Tolerance knowledge

Job Description: Exteriors Design Engineer (6-9 Years exp.)

Mandatory Skills –

• Catia V5, Team center
• Ability to Design the Exterior components considering the packaging area, which includes selection of Material /material grade, Material properties; Thickness.
• Experience working with all the stages of Product Development Lifecycle – Concept TO manufacturing
• Experience with Supplier interaction for part development.
• Experience in Part testing (Both DV & PV testing experience is preferred)
• Design for Manufacturability and Assembly.
• Experience in performing DFMEA
• Sheetmetal Design experience.
• Experience in applying tolerance and GD&TRole & responsibilities
