Export Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate customs clearance, including shipping bill filing on ICEGATE, examination and Let Export Order (LEO).
• Appoint and manage Customs House Agents (CHAs), and monitor their clearance timelines and charges.
• Negotiate freight rates with forwarders and shipping lines, book shipments, and track ETD and ETA.
• Prepare and verify export documents: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading, insurance and product certificates.
• Track IGST refunds, RoDTEP claims and eBRC generation.
• Resolve shipment delays, document discrepancies and buyer queries.
• Maintain the export tracking sheet and report shipment status to management.

Requirements

• Graduate with 4 to 6 years of experience in export operations.
• Strong knowledge of Indian customs procedures, Incoterms, and the ICEGATE and DGFT portals.
• Experience handling FCL, LCL and air shipments.
• Strong coordination, negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
