Expert- Construction Project Assessment
FinacPlus provides Virtual Business and Professional Services to overseas clients and this position is to be part of the dedicated team which provides Mortgage Loan Management Services to Toorak Capital Partners from Mortgage Finance Industry.
Position Overview
Expert - Construction Project Assessment position analyzes and evaluates construction projects to determine whether the estimated scope, cost, and schedule are accurate to determine if reimbursement draw requests are warranted.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate construction progress based on on-site photographs and submitted documentation to ensure borrowers adhere to the original scope of work and comply with applicable codes and regulations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert supporting the Draw Management team by assigning percentage completion ratings based on construction progress, ensuring appropriate fund disbursements in accordance with best practices.
- Assess project schedules and milestones to ensure completion before loan maturity.
- Evaluate the reasonableness of project labor requirements in relation to the budgeted amounts.
- Review construction methods being employed and determine their cost-effectiveness relative to the project budget.
- Communicate project status to leadership and stakeholders, highlighting recurring concerns and potential risks to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Critically evaluate on-site photographs and other submitted documentation to assess project status and determine completion percentages across all trades.
- Maintain open lines of communication with external stakeholders, including loan originators and borrowers, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering. A master s degree is preferred.
- Licensed Architect who has passed the AAT/ARE examination conducted by the Council of Architecture, or a Chartered Civil Engineer holding a Chartered Engineer Certificate from the Institution of Engineers ( not mandatory ).
- 2-5 years of project management and on-site construction experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to interact effectively with owners, developers, and contractors throughout the various phases of planning, budgeting, and construction.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to identify potential risks and areas of exposure when analyzing project status.
- Proficiency in computer hardware and software, including MS Office and MS Project. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required, along with the ability to summarize and present data efficiently.
LOCATION: Hyderabad
Shift timings: 6.30PM to 3.30 AM
SALARY RANGE: Best in Industry
