Position Summary:

The role of an Experience Associate/Senior Associate is to carry out routine accounting procedures and tasks from MGO India offices supporting the various Global client serving FAAS teams. Key expectations for this role are to provide high quality results to these teams, often to a tight deadline.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

• Responsible for delivering highest quality on every task assigned in line with MGO accounting methodology and the expectations of Global FAAS teams.
• Application and solution-based approach to problem solving, referred to for research on delivery of solutions in that field on client assignments.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of an industry or sector and be aware of accounting policies applicable to that industry.
• Monthly and Yearly closing of books as per U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Execute & report the tasks aligned for the client allocated.
• Generate Invoices of customers.
• Analysis of open item of accounts receivables and follow up for clearing of the same.
• Booking Invoices of vendors.
• Analysis of open items of Accounts payables to ensure timely payments to them.
• Processing/booking of payroll for the employees or contractors of clients.
• Preparing Prepaid/Accrual schedule, Depreciation schedule, Cash Flow statements and any other schedule as appropriate to the industry of client
• Performing Bank Reconciliations.
• Timely identification of accounting issues, report the facts and findings, and discuss with GSC seniors.
• Work with the GSC senior and global team members to set goals and responsibilities.
• Interact with the global FAAS team on a regular basis and develop productive working relationships with them.
• Contributes to a positive team environment by demonstrating consistent commitment and optimism towards work challenges.
• Develop knowledge of use of MGO technology and tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.

Qualification and Competencies:

• CA/CPA/ACCA with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Semi Qualified CA or pursuing CA/ACCA/CPA with experience of 1 to 2 years or Graduates with 2 to 4 years of experience can also apply.
• Basic understanding of accounting procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and good written & oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of Intuit quick books, Sage Intaact is an advantage
• Robust logical and reasoning skills.
• Proficient with MS office.
• Interest in business and commerciality.
• Team player, with the ability to multi-task, flexible and can work under pressure.
• Commitment to continuous learning and proactive implementation of new processes.
