BE -Mechanical/ Diploma with minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in expediting in oil & Gas, Chemical & Petrochemical Industry.

Job Description

The Desk Expeditor is responsible for monitoring and expediting project activities to ensure timely execution of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, and dispatch activities as per project schedules. The role involves close coordination with internal departments, vendors, clients, and site teams to track progress, identify delays, and ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor daily project progress against approved schedules.

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, inspection agencies, and internal departments for timely completion of activities.

Follow up for engineering documents, material procurement, fabrication status, inspection clearance, and dispatch readiness.

Maintain expediting reports, planning trackers, and progress updates.

Identify delays, bottlenecks, and critical activities and escalate to management.

Coordinate with QA/QC, Production, Purchase, Logistics, and Client representatives.

Ensure inspection calls are planned as per manufacturing progress.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and customers.

Support planning team for preparation and updating of project schedules.
