Exim Officer

Responsibilities:

• Order booking in SAP - Imports & Intragroup Purchases.
• Sending dispatch documents to the customer/banks within the stipulated time as per guidelines.
• Finalization & Coordination of EXIM Logistics as per International & domestic norms. (tracking shipments, using the best & economical methods of shipment).
• Custom clearances/ documentations for Imports (High Sea sales/3rd Country shipments, etc).
• Warehousing, Transportation & distribution coordination from Local Warehouses.
• Back-office support to the customer managers.
• Networking with the plants (Outside India) for expediting the dispatches.
• Payment tracking & follow-ups with the customer & subsequent reporting.
• Forex hedging, handling Letter of Credits (LC), Performance bank Guarantees (PBG), and Bank coordination.
• Procurement of Imported goods- PR to Pay.
• Coordinating for Vendor payments.
• Participating in S&OP forecasting & demand planning activities.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Minimum Graduate with 3-5 years of experience, higher education will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of EXIM- international trade and import operation. Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and customs clearance.
• SAP knowledge (Procurement & Supply Chain modules preferred).
• MS-Office Skills (Excel, Word, PPT).
• Vendor and stakeholder management.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and process orientation.
