About the Role

Jaipur Rugs is looking for a passionate and creative Senior Space Designer to join our team. We are seeking a professional with a strong understanding of spatial design, visual merchandising, retail environments, exhibition and booth design, and brand storytelling through space. The ideal candidate is someone who can take complete ownership of projects—from concept development to final execution—while ensuring exceptional design quality and seamless implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and execute retail spaces, exhibitions, trade show booths, installations, and experiential environments.

• Develop innovative spatial design solutions that align with brand identity and business objectives.

• Lead projects end-to-end, from ideation and design development to vendor coordination, execution, and site supervision.

• Create compelling visual merchandising strategies and in-store experiences that enhance customer engagement.

• Prepare design presentations, mood boards, layouts, technical drawings, and execution details.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, marketing teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure timely project delivery.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards while proactively resolving challenges.

• Stay updated on design trends, materials, technologies, and best practices in retail and experiential design.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in Space Design, Retail Design, Exhibition Design, Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, or related fields.

• Strong design sensibility with an eye for aesthetics, detail, and customer experience.

• Proven experience in retail environments, exhibitions, booths, and experiential projects.

• Ability to independently manage projects and take ownership from concept to completion.

• Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D visualization tools, or equivalent.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, execution-focused mindset.
