Role & responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Execution: Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to achieve production targets while maintaining product quality and delivery schedules.
2. Team Management: Supervise and guide the manufacturing team to ensure smooth production operations, productivity, and compliance with quality requirements.
3. Manufacturing Processes: Ensure process compliance and quality across operations such as electropolishing, anodizing, glass blasting, welding, and buffing.
4. Machinery & Equipment: Coordinate manufacturing activities involving VMC, CNC, molding, turning, and wire-cut machines. Ensure efficient machine utilization and process performance.
5. Process Improvement: Drive productivity improvement through process optimization, updated documentation, specifications, and work instructions.
6. Quality Inspection: Verify product quality against approved engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable acceptance criteria.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with Quality Control, Microbiology, Maintenance, Engineering, and other relevant teams to resolve production issues and ensure smooth operations.
8. Yield Improvement & Cost Reduction: Work with engineers and production executives to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce rejection and rework, optimize processes, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
9. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure proper maintenance of production records, process documents, work instructions, and other relevant manufacturing documentation.
10. Continuous Improvement: Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

Qualification and Experience

1. Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
2. 4-5 years of experience in production or manufacturing, preferably in the medical device or precision engineering industry.
3. Practical knowledge of VMC, CNC, molding, turning, and wire-cut machines.
4. Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as electropolishing, anodizing, glass blasting, welding, and buffing.
5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and verify product dimensions against specifications.
6. Good communication, team coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
7. Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
8. Knowledge of SolidWorks, CorelDRAW, 2D drawings, will be an added advantage.
9. Proficiency in English and Hindi.
