SAP HANA EXPERIENCE OF 4 YEARS IS MANDATORY

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented GST professional responsible for managing GST compliance, return filing, reconciliations, and tax-related documentation. The role requires strong knowledge of GST and coordination with internal teams and tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

GST Compliance & Return Filing

• Preparation and filing of GST returns such as:
• GSTR-1 (Outward supplies)
• GSTR-3B (Monthly summary return)
• GSTR-9 / 9C (Annual returns)
• Ensuring timely filing and compliance with GST regulations

Reconciliation

• Perform reconciliation of:
• Sales as per books vs GSTR-1
• Advances received and adjusted from customers Vs GSTR-1
• Purchases vs GSTR-2B
• ITC reconciliation and eligibility checks
• Identify mismatches and coordinate with vendors/customers for timely resolution

Input Tax Credit (ITC) Management

• Verify and claim eligible ITC
• Monitor blocked credits as per GST provisions
• Follow-ups with vendors for ITC discrepancies
• Ensuring correct posting of ITC and related accounting entries in respective ledgers

GST Ledger & Documentation

• Maintain GST ledgers and records
• Ensure proper documentation for audit and assessments
• Maintain tax invoices, debit/credit notes

Vendor & Customer Coordination

• Resolve GST-related issues with vendors/customers
• Ensure correct GST compliance in invoices

Notices & Assessments

• Handle GST notices, queries, and departmental communications
• Assist in departmental as well as statutory / tax audits and assessments
• Draft replies to GST authorities

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Keep track of GST law changes and updates
• Communicating relevant GST updates to various related departments
• Suggest improvements in GST processes and controls

Additional responsibilities

• Sales Order creation in SAP
• Create and process sales orders in SAP (VA01 / VA02)
• Validate customer purchase orders (POs) before entry
• General accounting knowledge
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Ledger & trial balance scrutiny

Required Qualifications:

• CA Inter (not pursuing CA now)

Experience:

• 4 + years of experience in GST in Corporate industry
• Article ship will not be counted

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of GST laws and compliance
• Expert knowledge of SAP accounting and various T-codes (FI & SD module)
• Exposure to accounting in Tally preferred
• Proficiency in Excel
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
