About this role
To register new patientsattend queriespre-authorization of requestclaimsbill recovery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Registration of New / Renewal of the file of patient.
- Attending all the queries of the In-patients / out patient and their relatives or guest regarding the discharge and final bill amount in the hospital.
- Different types of outpatient billing like Yeshaswini / Suvarna / Arogya Raksha / Vajpayee Billing will be raised at the time of discharge.
- Pre authorization request will be sent to the respective scheme office for the approval of the concerned treatment (surgical / medical)
- All the inpatient bills will be sent for the claims to the respective scheme office.
- Cheque entry to be done in the registers once the claims approval from the scheme office is received.
Candidate Requirements:
- Verbal Ability/Communication Skill: Ability to comprehend verbal instructions given by the supervisor or head of the department.
- To give accurate and tactful explanations to patients. Problem solving/ Decision-making
- To think independently and exercise own judgment.
- Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to comprehend written instructions given by the Doctors and the other related departmental personnel.
- Ability to plan organize ones work schedule effectively.
- Speaking and listening are essential requirements to understand and carry out the instructions given by the supervisors and other related departmental personnel.
- Affinity to work in team.
- Enthusiasm.
- Open-mindedness
