About this role
- Validate in-process recipes against the authorized product manual to ensure correct formulation, ingredient quality
- Inspect incoming raw materials against specifications and ensure correct proportions are used during processing.
- Perform sensory, physical evaluation of finished goods to ensure adherence to product manuals.
- Monitor and log critical parameters such as temperature (cooking, chilling, holding), weighing, and blending
- Ensure line clearance to prevent cross-contamination and proper setup before starting a new batch.
- Actively audit the preparation, packaging, and dispatch stages to detect deviations from established process controls.
- Ensure all personnel adhere to standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for hygiene, sanitation, and food handling.
- Review and verify daily production records, BMRs (Batch Manufacturing Records), and cleaning logs to ensure compliance with GMP.
- Ensure the DC adheres to food safety management systems, including HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and housekeeping standards.
- Identify deviations from SOPs or recipes, investigate root causes, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
