• Work directly in the field and operate plant equipment when required.
• Supervise operators, helpers, and contract workers during the shift.
• Monitor crushing, screening, jigging, spirals, pumps, conveyors, and dewatering equipment.
• Through knowledge of on hand maintenance of Tables, crushers, classifiers, scrubbers, Mills, Thickeners, slurry pumps etc.
• Adjust operating parameters of tabling and spiral circuits to maintain recovery and concentrate quality.
• Attend breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report abnormalities.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety compliance in the assigned area.
• Maintain shift production and downtime records.
• Train operators and helpers in safe operating practices.

• ITI (Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering)

• 815 years of hands-on experience in mineral beneficiation plants.
• Experience in chrome ore, iron ore beneficiation plants.
• Should be capable of independently handling a shift during the absence of the shift in-charge.

• Practical operation of jigs, spirals, screens, conveyors, pumps, and thickeners.
• Ability to identify and rectify operational problems.
• Basic maintenance knowledge.
• Leadership of shop-floor manpower.
• Safety-conscious and physically fit for field work.
