Executive - Water Proofing (Admixture)

• Conduct literature surveys and experimental planning for new product development.
• Develop, evaluate, and optimize formulations for waterproofing products, construction chemicals, adhesives, and related systems.
• Execute laboratory trials, product testing, and validation as per defined test protocols.
• Perform testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Evaluate alternative raw materials and identify opportunities for formulation improvement and cost optimization.
• Conduct benchmark studies of competitor products and prepare technical reports.
• Support plant scale-up, product standardization, and technology transfer activities.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, trial data, and technical documentation.
• Participate in site application trials and provide technical support during product validation.
• Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QC, Sales, Marketing, and Technical Service teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• B. Tech / M.Sc Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Paint Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in Construction Chemicals, Waterproofing, Admixtures, Coatings, Adhesives, Repair & Rehabilitation products.
• Hands-on experience in raw material testing, formulation trials, QC testing, and product validation.
• Exposure to waterproofing systems such as PU, Acrylic, Cementitious, HDPE Membranes, Epoxy, or related technologies will be preferred.
• Knowledge of testing instruments such as Viscometer, UTM, Colorimeter, Density, pH, Gloss, Water Absorption, Tensile and Flexural Testing.
• Experience in customer complaint handling, RCA, CAPA, and technical troubleshooting.
• Good analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
