Position description: Join Jindal Stainless Limited as a key member of our Warehouse team, where you will oversee and optimize warehouse operations within the mining and metals industry. Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Implement and monitor inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement and production departments to ensure timely availability of materials and optimize warehouse space utilization.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards specific to the mining and metals sector.
- Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory movements and generate reports for management review.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to schedule and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
