Executive To Senior Manager - Business Development

Position Purpose

Sales Managers (Freight Forwarding) will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to attract new clients and expand business with existing customers. They will play a key role in identifying market opportunities, developing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the freight-forwarding sector (Air and Ocean Products).

• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.

• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and assess competition.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

• Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to clients.

• Track and report sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Key Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

• Proven record of accomplishment of achieving sales targets and generating new business.

• Strong understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics market.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, preferably in international freight forwarding for Executive / Sr Executive / Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Manager.

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in sales, preferably in international freight forwarding for Senior Manager and Above Positions.
