About this role
The Shipping Executive is responsible formanaging day-to-day dispatch and logistics operations, ensuring accurateinventory management, timely order execution, proper documentation, vehiclecoordination, and adherence to quality requirements during dispatch activities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily SKU-wisefinished goods inventory records.
Monitor inward and outwardstock movements.
Prepare and verify GRNs anddispatch documentation.
Coordinate with transportersfor timely vehicle placement.
Punch customer ordersaccurately in the system.
Ensure quality complianceduring dispatch and loading activities.
Supervise loading manpower andallocate resources according to workload.
Maintain inventory accuracy andconduct stock reconciliation.
Follow FIFO/FEFO practices andfood safety requirements.
Submit daily inventory,dispatch, and logistics reports to the reporting manager.
Coordinate with production,quality, stores, and logistics teams.
Inventory Management
Maintain daily SKU-wisefinished goods inventory records.
Monitor stock availability andensure inventory accuracy.
Perform regular stockreconciliation and report inventory variances.
Ensure proper documentation andtraceability of stocks.
Inward Outward Operations
Manage all inward and outwardmaterial movements.
Ensure timely preparation andverification of dispatch documents.
Coordinate loading andunloading activities efficiently.
Maintain proper records ofstock receipts and dispatches.
Documentation GRN Management
Prepare and verify GoodsReceipt Notes (GRNs).
Maintain dispatch records,invoices, challans, and transport documents.
Ensure all documentation iscompleted accurately and on time.
Order Processing
Receive and process customerdispatch orders.
Punch orders into theERP/system accurately.
Coordinate with planning andsales teams for timely dispatch execution.
Transportation Coordination
Coordinate with transportersfor vehicle placement as per dispatch requirements.
Ensure vehicle availability toavoid dispatch delays.
Monitor vehicle loadingschedules and dispatch timelines.
Quality Food Safety Compliance
Ensure quality requirements arefollowed during loading and dispatch activities.
Verify product condition,packaging integrity, and dispatch specifications.
Follow GMP, food safety, andhygiene requirements during warehouse and dispatch operations.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices areimplemented.
Manpower Management
Allocate manpower for loadingand unloading activities based on workload.
Supervise contract labor andloading teams.
Ensure safe working practicesduring material handling activities.
Reporting Communication
Submit daily dispatch,inventory, and logistics reports to the reporting manager.
Report operational issues,shortages, damages, or delays promptly.
Coordinate with production,quality, stores, and transport teams for smooth operations.
Required Qualifications.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Logistics,Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 2-4 years of experience inshipping, warehouse, dispatch, or logistics operations. Food and Beverageindustry experience is preferred.
