Senior Executive/ Executive - Quality Assurance & Quality Control

Industry: Food Manufacturing / FMCG - Dry Fruits, Nuts, Snacks & Processed Foods

Experience: 4-6 years in Food Manufacturing / Quality

Work Location: Bangalore

Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate in Food Technology, Food Science

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of Food Processing preferably dry fruits and nuts (or Snacks)
• Specialist knowledge of Quality & Food Safety requirements
• Handling Manufacturing set-up and follow the productivity, quality, delivery, and cost KPIs.
• Knowledge of Indian legislation and standards
• Process monitoring and control
• Building & Managing Teams
• Vendor Management
• New Product Development
• Communication and interpersonal Skills

Key Deliverables

• Leading the Quality agenda including Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Food Safety to achieve and exceed business performance targets through the implementation and delivery of the organization's strategic agenda.
• Understands and manages the Units Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) objectives.
• Ensure implementation Q&FS initiatives to meet business goals.
• Represent as a key member of the Company Incident Management Team.
• Manage escalated, difficult or complex issues.
• Coordinate for quality and food safety risk mitigations.
• Engage and influence top management to ensure positive outcomes.
• Network in the industry to ensure the development of Q&FS best practice across organization.
• Co-ordinate Q&FS activities across other business functions and with key stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting by sites against business KPI's
