Executive - Solution Consulting

Primary Purpose of the Position
Finacle is expanding its Business Consulting Group to support continued growth and is seeking solution consultants for the Finacle Australia BCG team. The role requires banking experience and solution expertise to help design and propose innovative offerings for banks and financial institutions in Australia. Consultants should be comfortable engaging with bank stakeholders to understand their vision and strategy, while also collaborating with operational and technical managers. This position is approximately 60% technical and 40% functional.


The incumbent will demonstrate Finacle Core and Enterprise Banking solutions to prospects and customers, clearly articulating the business benefits of Finacle and its advantages over competing solutions. Strong knowledge of Finacle is preferred. The role also requires researching customer needs and developing contextual messaging tailored to each customer.
The person is expected to have experience as follows.

Mandatory
Retail and corporate core banking solutions, including deposits, loans, CASA, and cards.
Technical expertise in technologies like Java, Python, C/C++ etc., preferably hands-on experience

Desirable
Understanding of channel banking, trade finance, CRM solutions, leasing and asset management solutions, cash management, LMS, and VAM. Technical knowledge of technologies used in Finacle.

Nice to have Exposure to domains of SCF, payments, embedded finance and latest AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstration of Banking Software Solutions
  • Preparation of the demonstration scenarios
  • Setting up the scenarios in the system for the demo
  • Making the required adjustment in the set-up and messaging based on the locale
  • Preparing or modifying the demo script and presentations based on the specific customer context
  • Understanding the solution context of the customer and preparing the scenarios based on understanding of the solution context
  • Going through the RFP documents, and other customer communication and documents to define the scope of the demo and the demo scenarios
  • Testing the demo instance to make sure that functionality is working as it should
    • Engagement
      • Work with geography teams in working out the demo strategy
      • Work closely with product and customization teams to make changes on demo environment to meet demo requirements
      • Engagement with the technical team to make sure technically the environment is absolutely fit for the demo including API verifications before demo for specific scenarios
      • Most importantly, engage with the customer to understand pain points of their current system and assessments done during the demo to develop a good working relationship with customers
        • Thought Leadership, Content
          • Create presentations for the demos
          • Create thought papers on trends
          • Create repositories of case studies, learnings, best practices and re-usable information.
            Experience
            8-10 years of post-qualification experience working for a bank/technology/fintech companies in the roles of operations/technology. Should have good knowledge of banking systems and the drivers of core banking. Experience in pre-sales, client-facing roles would be a bonus. Experience in solution design will be a big plus. Education background with some finance degree would add to the profile

            • Experience in proposing solutions and effective solutioning traits.
            • Experience in market leading channel solution would be a plus
            • Understanding of latest developments in products and services within Financial Services.
            • Working with various internal & external stakeholders (including senior management) and small inter-disciplinary teams.
            • Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.
