Executive / Senior Executive - Microbiology

Job description:

Looking for candidates who will pursue their career in Microbiology Department in a Pharma / Nutraceutical Industries.

Total Experience: 3-8yrs

Job Location: Shamirpet, Hyderabad and Hassan, Karnataka.

Qualification: M.Sc. Microbiology

Role & Responsibilities:

• Microbial limit testing (MLT) of bulk drugs, raw materials etc.
• Daily lab monitoring, Maintenance of Media preparation record, Media stock record, growth promotion test (GPT) record, Media Discard records etc.
• Responsible for water sampling analysis and Validation.
• Bio load testing for equipment's, packing materials etc.
• Non-routine analysis like Disinfectant efficacy tests, MPN Test, Total viable spore count for biological indicators (Ampoule & strips) as well as analyzing the bio load of sampling accessories.
• Ensuring the environmental conditions like temperature, humidity controls are available to carry out analysis.
• To implement calibration of Instruments as per the SOP, to ensure the disposal of media cultures as per SOPS.
• Ensure the entry of analyzed samples in respective registers.
• Analysis of samples, reporting, checking the reports, records etc.
• Providing support to Quality Manager in the implementation of quality system.
• To ensure GMP and GLP guidelines followed.
• To maintain data for documentation, test procedures and reprocess abnormalities.
• To review and update standard operating procedures.
• To monitor Housekeeping, Safety and self-hygiene practices.
• Any other works instructed by your reporting authority.
