About this role
- Provide technical support such what-if to the PR&D team to develop the robust, Scale-able and safe process. Share experiment details by considering the scale-up prospective, analyze the outcome of the data and provide suggestions.
- Plan pilot experiments with clear objectives and close the pilot study reports
- Prepare and fill process engineering checklist based on lab experiments for the unit process like reaction and unit operations like filtration, distillation, etc. Complete process engineering calculations with reasonable assumptions and basis
- Prepare technical documents like PFD, P&ID, Equipment suitability, impurity profile and Mass & Material balance sheets, Risk assessment report. Review tech pack and prepare BPR, BCT and QMS documents
- Plan and complete walkthrough with draft BPR, P&ID, Technology packages and Process safety report to check the fitment of facility and coordinate for completion of pending works
- Proactively complete all documentation works for seamless technology transfer and scale-up from lab to pilot and then from pilot to plant scale for its Right First Time (RFT) and On-time In Full (OTIF).
