Responsible for driving business growth in the Eastern Region through sales of Printing Packaging Machinery, Equipment and Consumables. Build strong customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and deliver the right technical and commercial solutions to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Handle sales of Printing Packaging Machinery such as printing/converting machines and related equipment, along with Consumables such as inks, varnishes, flexo plates, etc. in the Eastern Region.
- Develop new customers and grow business with existing customers through regular customer visits.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical and commercial solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and respond to customer enquiries and RFQs.
- Conduct product presentations, machinery demonstrations and product trials.
- Generate new leads through exhibitions, trade fairs, market visits and networking.
- Coordinate with Technical, Service, Logistics, Stores and Finance teams for smooth order execution.
- Follow up on orders, deliveries, payments and collections and maintain regular customer communication.
- Keep updated on competitors, market trends, new products and technologies in the Printing Packaging industry.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Printing Technology.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Consumable Sales / Machine Sales
Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skill
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Customer-focused approach
- Ability to build professional relationships
Location
The Executive - (Consumables and Machinery) will work from Kolkata location.
Travel Requirements
Candidate should be willing to travel frequently.
