Executive - Purchase

Location: Galgalia, Thakurganj, Kishanganj, Bihar

Job Purpose

To manage factory-level procurement activities, ensuring timely availability of materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities for the factory.
• Process purchase requisitions and coordinate with internal departments.
• Source and develop local and regional vendors.
• Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate prices.
• Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up on deliveries.
• Coordinate with Stores, Maintenance, Production and Accounts for material and invoice-related matters.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor data and purchase MIS.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and ensure compliance with company procurement processes.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline; B.Com/BBA/B.Tech/Diploma preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, ERP, vendor management and negotiation.
• Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
