Executive - Procurement

Job Summary Responsibilities

• The Procurement Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies to support business objectives.
• The candidate will work closely with internal teams such as supply chain, production, finance, and marketing to ensure a seamless procurement process aligned with company goals.
• This role will involve working with MRP (Material Requirements Planning), IBP (Integrated Business Planning), and Power BI to enhance decision-making and operational effectiveness.
• Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools in ERP systems to ensure material availability.
• Leverage Power BI and other analytics tools to generate procurement reports, track supplier performance, and monitor cost trends.
• Support digital transformation initiatives such as automation in procurement workflows and supplier portals.
• Planning of raw materials, packaging materials, and indirect goods/services required for the business.
• Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations.
• Liaison with cross-functional teams for alternate vendor development, MOQ reduction, supplier proximity & CRM projects .
• Supplier Management & Negotiation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and reliability for in-house, 3P & P2P operations.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop supplier risk management strategies and contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with internal departments to understand material and service requirements.
• Monitor and analyze procurement spend to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
• Work closely with supply chain, production, R&D, and finance teams to ensure procurement aligns with business needs.
• Support new product development (NPD) by sourcing innovative materials and packaging solutions.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehousing teams to ensure smooth inbound material flow.
• Engage in sustainability initiatives and ensure responsible sourcing practices.
• Elder care for those who might need to extend support to senior family members .

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Experience in supply chain management, with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence.
