Role & responsibilities

The Executive Officer PVC will be responsible for data collection, departmental coordination, and communication with members and stakeholders. The role involves managing confidential information, preparing reports and presentations, and ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate documentation.

This role involves supporting the PVC department through effective coordination, data management, and communication. It requires handling confidential information, preparing reports, and assisting the Director General in key external engagements. The responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Preparing official documents, reports, and data presentations.
• Handling confidential correspondence with accuracy and discretion.
• Supporting the Director Generals interactions with:
• Government officials
• Industry associations
• Council members
• Assisting in the collation, verification, and presentation of data for strategic and operational use.
• Ensuring timely follow-ups and communication with member organizations.

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of, or a motivation to understand, the electrical and electronics industry. We are looking for someone with:

Educational Qualifications:

• Graduate, preferably in Science or Commerce with Mathematics or Statistics.

Professional Experience:

• 35 years of hands-on experience in statistical data collection, compilation, and analysis.
• Experience working with production data, industry pricing trends, or supporting Price Variation Clause (PVC) mechanisms.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and present data insights for internal reporting and decision-making.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions), PowerPoint, and MS Access; basic knowledge of SQL or database tools.
• Comfortable working with large data sets, statistical tools, and generating customized reports.
• Exposure to web data mining, trend analysis, and industry data interpretation is preferred.
• Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
