Role & responsibilities

1) Meter Management: Supervise installation, replacement, testing, calibration and maintenance of consumer and feeder meters.

2) Meter Reading Operations: Coordinate monthly meter reading activities and ensure timely availability of accurate data for billing.

3) Meter Survey & Verification: Conduct periodic surveys to verify consumer details, connected load, meter status and metering infrastructure.

4) Energy Audit Support: Assist in feeder-wise, DT-wise and consumer-wise energy accounting and loss assessment activities.

5) Smart Metering Initiatives: Support implementation, monitoring and verification of Smart Metering and Prepaid Metering projects.

6) Testing & Calibration: Ensure periodic testing and calibration of meters as per applicable standards and regulatory guidelines.

7) Data Validation: Review meter data for abnormalities, consumption patterns and possible meter-related issues.

8) Consumer Services: Support disconnection/reconnection, meter replacement and load extension activities.

9) Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meter inventory, testing records, meter replacement data and monthly MIS reports.

Preferred candidate profile

Years of Experience: 2 - 3 years in relevant field.
