Executive - Mechanical Maintenance

Role & responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Ensure maximum machine availability and minimum downtime to support production targets.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, welding, and material handling systems.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams for smooth plant operations.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, checklists, and equipment history records.
• Ensure timely availability of critical spares and consumables.
• Support installation, commissioning, and relocation of new machines and equipment.
• Drive TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures.
• Ensure compliance with safety, EHS, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor utility equipment and support overall plant maintenance activities.
• Improve equipment reliability, MTBF, and maintenance efficiency through planned actions.
• Train operators on autonomous maintenance practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-8 years (Executive) / 6-12 years (Sr. Executive) in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience in maintenance of welding lines, assembly lines, conveyors, presses, and utility systems.
• Knowledge of TPM, SAP PM Module, and maintenance planning.
• Strong troubleshooting and team coordination skills.
