About this role
Job Title: Social Media Executive Main Objective of the RoleWe are looking for a Social Media Executive who understands how to translate healthcare expertise into engaging, trustworthy, and patient-friendly content.This role goes beyond posting, you will own the content thinking, planning, and execution across social platforms, ensuring our communication is empathetic, credible, and impactful. Key Responsibilities 1. Content Thinking & Strategy Develop monthly content calendars aligned with brand, campaigns, and medical priorities Translate doctor inputs into simple, engaging, and patient-centric content Bring fresh content ideas (reels, series, formats, hooks, storytelling) Ensure the right mix of education, emotion, and engagement 2. Social Media Management Manage day-to-day content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.) Write captions that are clear, empathetic, and non-promotional Ensure consistency in tone, visual language, and brand guidelines Coordinate with designers & video editors for execution3. Doctor & Medical Content Coordination Work closely with doctors to: Plan video topics Guide them on content formats Ensure compliance (no misleading claims, ethical communication) Be able to extract content from conversations, not depend on scripts alone4. Campaign & Performance Support Support campaign execution (health day campaigns, awareness days, launches) Track performance of content (reach, engagement, saves, shares etc.) Identify what’s working and suggest improvements 5. Trend & Platform Understanding Stay updated with Instagram/Reels trends, hooks, and formats Adapt trends to healthcare in a sensitive and relevant way Experiment with new formats while maintaining brand credibility Major Job Qualifications / Specific SkillsRequired Education: DegreeExperience 0 to 1 yearKnowledge and Specific SkillsContent Mindset Ability to think in hooks, formats, and storytelling, not just posts Can convert complex medical topics into simple, relatable content Understands what makes people stop, read, watch, and save Communication Skills Strong written English (clear, simple, non-jargon) Ability to write for emotion + clarity Comfortable interacting with doctors and internal stakeholders Execution Ability High ownership, can manage calendars, deadlines, and coordination Detail-oriented (especially important in healthcare content) Fast, responsive, and organisedDigital & Platform Understanding Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Knows basics of engagement metrics and content performance Healthcare Sensitivity Understands the importance of ethical communication Avoids exaggerated claims, fear-based messaging, or misinformationGood to Have Experience in healthcare / wellness / hospital marketing Experience in short-form video content (Reels) Basic understanding of paid campaigns Familiarity with compliance guidelines in healthcare advertising
