Executive - HVAC & Building Management Systems (Engineering)

Key Responsibilities

BMS / EMS Operations

• Operate and monitor Building Management System (BMS) and Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) for manufacturing and utility areas.
• Review alarms, trends, and system parameters and ensure timely resolution of abnormalities.
• Maintain records and reports related to BMS/EMS operations.

HVAC Operations & Maintenance

• Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC systems to ensure compliance with environmental and process requirements.
• Perform routine inspections and assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Monitor critical HVAC parameters including temperature, humidity, differential pressure, and air changes.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure uninterrupted HVAC performance.

User Coordination

• Coordinate with production, quality, and user departments regarding planned equipment and facility shutdowns/outages.
• Communicate maintenance schedules and downtime requirements to stakeholders.
• Support smooth restoration of systems after maintenance activities.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain logbooks, checklists, maintenance records, and operational reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with GMP requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to HVAC, BMS, and EMS operations.
• Assist during audits and regulatory inspections by providing required documentation.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow GMP, GDP, and EHS requirements during all operational and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and internal quality procedures.
• Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

• 2-6 years of experience in HVAC operation and maintenance.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, sterile, injectable, or regulated manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Exposure to cleanroom HVAC systems will be an added advantage.
