Executive - HRM

1. Payroll

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing including attendance, leave records, salary computation, statutory & other deductions, and ensure timely disbursement of salary and wages.
• Manage salary benefits, making statutory deductions and ensuring timely deposit of P.F./E.S.I. contribution, Professional Tax, L.W.F. and other legal dues.
• Prepare MIS reports of Salary, Leaves and Attendance as and when required.

2. HR Operations

• Prepare and issue I-Cards, Appointment Letters, Confirmation Letters, Increment Letters, etc., and ensure their timely distribution as per company policy, throughout the employee life cycle.
• Maintain and update personnel files, records and various statutory registers/forms, periodical or permanent, under different labour laws.
• Handle and resolve employee queries related to attendance, leave, salary, PF & ESIC.

3. Statutory & Labour Law Compliance

• Manage statutory compliance under the PF Act, ESIC Act, Shop & Establishment Act, Payment of Wages Act, Factories Act, Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, Minimum Wages Act, and other applicable labour laws.
• Manage compliance under the Payment of Bonus Act & Payment of Gratuity Act, calculation of bonus and gratuity as per the respective Act and timely filing of returns.
• Assist in obtaining and renewing licences and registrations under various Labour Acts (Factory Licence, Contract Labour Licence, etc.) through the IFP portal, as and when required.
• Support in liaison work with government/labour authorities and assist during inspections, visits and labour court/tribunal matters as required.

4. Recruitment & Selection

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities; understanding manpower requirements from department heads, preparing job descriptions and obtaining manpower requisition approvals.
• Source candidates through job portals, consultants, employee referrals, campus drives and other channels, and screen resumes as per position requirements.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews with concerned department heads/ interview panel, and follow up for timely feedback and closure of positions.
• Conduct preliminary HR screening/interviews, negotiate salary within approved budgets, and release offer letters to selected candidates.
• Manage the joining formalities of new employees, including induction, on-boarding and completion of joining documentation.
• Maintain recruitment MIS to track sourcing channel effectiveness, cost per hire, and to share periodical recruitment reports with management.
• Maintain the candidate database and coordinate with recruitment consultants/agencies, including empanelment and negotiation on commercials.

Preferred candidate profile

• Sound knowledge of Indian labour laws - PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, etc.
• Hands-on experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance & filing.
• Exposure of handling end-to-end recruitment and sourcing techniques.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and payroll/HRMS software.
• High level of discretion, ability to manage work independently within timelines.
