Role & responsibilities

Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure strict adherence to factory regulations including The Factories Act 1948, The Gujarat Factories Rules, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), ESIC

• Contract Labor Management: Supervise contract workmen onboarding, attendance tracking, and compliance validation. Ensure vendor compliance under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act (CLRA) and verify monthly wage sheets and statutory challans before payments.
• Liaisoning: local government authorities
• Time Office & Payroll Administration: Manage the biometric attendance system, overtime logs, leave registers, and shift schedules. Provide accurate data inputs to the centralized payroll team for timely monthly salary processing.
• Recruitment & Onboarding: Source, interview, and onboard blue-collar (associates/operators) and junior-level white-collar technical plant staff in coordination with department heads.
• Welfare & Plant Administration: Oversee plant House Keeping, sanitation, uniforms, and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Master of Social Work (MSW), Master of Labour Welfare (MLW), MBA in HR, or Postgraduate Diploma in Labor Laws (DLL) from a recognized university.
• Experience:4 to 6 years of core HR & IR experience inside a manufacturing plant environment
