Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and supervise mechanical maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted operation of the Sinter Plant.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot mechanical failures to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintenance tools.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment lifespan and reduce breakdowns.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards specific to the Mining Metals industry.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize plant performance and meet production targets.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and improvement initiatives.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives through efficient resource utilization and process improvements.
- Support the implementation of new mechanical systems and upgrades within the Sinter Plant.
