Executive EHS Billing

Role & responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day EHS patient billing activities as per hospital and scheme guidelines
• Prepare accurate bills for consultations, investigations, procedures, surgeries, pharmacy, and other eligible services
• Verify patient eligibility, EHS documents, approvals, and required supporting records
• Ensure accurate posting of charges and services in the Hospital Information System (HIS)
• Coordinate with EHS desk, OPD/IPD, Nursing, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, Medical Records, and other departments
• Verify package rates, approved tariffs, deductions, and applicable scheme rules
• Ensure proper documentation and submission of EHS bills and supporting documents
• Follow up on pending approvals, queries, clarifications, and billing discrepancies
• Review bills for accuracy before submission to avoid rejections and deductions
• Maintain records of submitted, pending, returned, and settled EHS claims
• Coordinate with the concerned departments for correction of billing/documentation discrepancies
• Support reconciliation of EHS bills, collections, and outstanding claims
• Ensure timely submission and closure of EHS billing cases

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant Hospital EHS Billing experience will be preferred.
