Job Title: Executive - Direct Taxation
JOB PURPOSE
This position delivers direct tax processes including but not limited to TDS, Tax filing, Tax-related report
preparation, supporting tax legal disputes, internal and external audits & compliance tracking. Would also be
responsible for ensuring and monitoring the tax compliance, providing strategic inputs, review of assessment
replies and coordinate with Business teams.

Responsibilities
Operations:
Accountable for various compliances such as monitoring TDS monthly
payments, advance tax, review of TDS returns, review of Income Tax
returns, Review of SFT returns etc. related to corporate sector.
SLAs adherence
Assisting the DT Head in monitoring the tax compliances and notices.
Process Flows accuracy
Monitoring and assisting group teams and business teams in TDS
Accurate and timely compliances

Timely Coordination with Review of assessment replies related to corporate sector
Preparation of appeal papers, written submissions and arguments to be
Business and corporate filed before the appellate authorities related to corporate sector.

Review taxation publications, decisions & rulings, new and proposed
legislation and tax reform measures and assesses application and
implications on the corporate sector.
Providing advise on direct taxation matter to corporate sector.

Assisting the DT Head in:
Ensuring all direct compliances on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and
Aged and Open observation
annual basis are on-time and without any delay for corporate sector
Accuracy and timeliness of
Adhering to processes, SLAs and RASCI.
Query response
Timely escalations
Preparing and updating MIS
Assisting DT COE Head in preparing MISs on regular basis.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Auditors & Tax & legal consultants
Interactions and closure of open points with external consultants with respect to Corporate sector
Support in legal clarifications required and maintain the response time
Tax Department
Appearance before the Tax Authorities from time to time.



EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Commerce

Chartered Accountant Inter qualified
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

3 to 5 years of experience in Direct Taxation
