JOB DESCRIPTION

Executive Assistant to the Group General Counsel

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule, convene and manage organisational committees, including the Whistleblower, POSH and Grievance committees.
• Maintain a central tracker of significant legal, litigation, regulatory, compliance and governance matters requiring the GGC's oversight.
• Track critical deadlines, including hearings, regulatory submissions, Board and committee matters, legal opinions, and significant contractual or compliance deliverables.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance team members across businesses and entities for periodic updates, MIS and management reports.
• Assist in consolidating departmental dashboards, presentations, status reports and leadership updates.
• Prepare meeting agendas, background materials and briefing packs, and maintain action trackers following key meetings.
• Ensure timely follow-up on commitments, decisions and deliverables originating from the GGC's office.
• Maintain organised and confidential records of key approvals, correspondence, presentations, retainership arrangements and invoices.
• Coordinate departmental budgets, law-firm invoices, retainers, purchase orders and administrative approvals, where applicable.
• Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a listed company, large corporate group, professional services firm or regulated organisation.
