Executive/Assistant Manager - Travel Operations

Role & responsibilities

1. Take shared responsibility along with Sales Towards revenue enhancement & achieving targets.

2. Accountable for Destination/Product wise Profitability across the Short haul Holidays Business for both brands.

3. To work closely with the Quality Control and Contracting team to make attractive packages. ( applicable only for GIT team)

4. To attend supplier meetings, trainings and road shows followed by a brief report

5. To work towards achieving the PLB(Performance Linked Bonus) with the applicable suppliers.

6. To check what is selling in the specific region (North/South/East/West) and update on regular basis

7. To check the competition and their products and rates on a regular basis and share the learning.

8. Work with Operations team and arrive at prompt and effective resolution of on tour issues.

9. To maintain excellent relations with internal and external stakeholders.

10. To go the extra mile to support the sales team for closures & closely monitor all high value files to achieve profitability.

11. To ensure the ZERO liability

12. Gaining a collective responsibility from Airline/Operations/Contracting teams towards Short Haul units.

13. Ensure that Products/packages are in place for Group Tours/Customized/Semi Customized Tours to cater to real time Market demands.

14. Make timely decisions along with inputs from the Online and offline Sales heads to keep Product portfolio relevant to Market requirements. 15. Ensure that contracting, Operations /Airlines teams are aligned to the targets of Group Tours/Customized/Semi Customized Tours .

16. Drive Product Trainings across Sales through Managers/experts within teams

17. Drive Innovation and quick-thinking within team so relevant process related changes are brought forth as per Stakeholder requirement.

18. Oversee and ensure that reports /dashboards are published so all relevant internal stake holders & extended teams are on the same page. 19. Drive tracking of customer feedback and implement changes as required.

Purpose of the Role

1. Lead team to achieve set targets for destination profitability

2. Build profitable relationships with Suppliers and internal stakeholders. 3. Ensure adherence to the compliance requirements as defined by the Company

4. Support the sales organization by catering to Customer requirements

5. Achieve set profitability targets

6. Collaborate and influence stakeholders and create buy-in in achieving overall destination profitability

8. Retaining current suppliers effectively & Vendor Management

9. Drive teams to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the overall deliverables.
