About the Company & Role

Airbotix Technology Private Limited operates across Drone Light Shows, Aerostat Systems, UAV Technologies and other engineering and defence-related projects. We seek a hands-on professional to manage high-volume inventory, stores operations, material movements and stock control across projects, including thousands of drones deployed for trials, demonstrations and drone shows.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stores Management

· Manage receipt, storage, issuance, stock control and accurate inventory records for drones, batteries, spare parts, electronics, tools, aerostat equipment and project materials.

· Implement item coding, tagging, bin locations, serial-number tracking and minimum/maximum stock levels.

Drone Fleet & Project Movement

· Track drone-wise serial numbers, quantities, deployment locations and movement history.

· Coordinate dispatch and return of thousands of drones and accessories for trials, testing, demonstrations and drone shows.

· Reconcile post-event returns and record missing, damaged, defective or under-repair items.

Procurement & Material Planning

· Coordinate with procurement, engineering and operations for bulk purchasing and timely availability of materials.

· Verify receipts against purchase orders, delivery challans and invoices; follow up on shortages, replacements and vendor returns.

Documentation, Audit & MIS

· Maintain GRNs, material issue/return notes, stock transfers, gate passes and supporting documentation.

· Conduct physical counts, cycle counts and reconciliation; report shortages, ageing, obsolete and scrap inventory.

· Prepare daily, weekly and monthly stock, movement and consumption reports.

Stores Safety & Logistics

· Coordinate packing, dispatch, receipt and safe storage of equipment.

· Ensure safe handling of lithium batteries and sensitive electronics in accordance with applicable procedures.

· Maintain stores security, housekeeping and clear accountability for materials.

Qualifications & Experience

· Graduate, Diploma or B.Tech in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management or related discipline.

· 4–8 years of relevant inventory/stores experience; drone/UAV, aerospace, defence or electronics industry experience strongly preferred.

· Experience with bulk technical inventory, serial-number-wise control, project-based issuance and returns.

· Working knowledge of ERP/inventory systems and stock control procedures.

Essential Skills

· Strong MS Excel, Word, Outlook and general computer proficiency; Excel formulas, PivotTables and MIS reporting.

· Strong documentation, reconciliation, numerical accuracy and analytical skills.

· Effective communication, cross-functional coordination, ownership and ability to manage urgent project demands independently.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates who have managed drone fleets, UAV equipment, aerospace components, defence electronics or other high-value technical inventory, especially frequent project deployments and returns, will be preferred.
