Execution Researcher

Job Summary: -

We are looking for motivated and driven coders, well versed with C++/low latency development to join our Execution Team. You would be working on improving our in house execution, sending orders directly to the exchange and optimizing execution logic specific to various strategies. You'll be part of a fast-paced environment, working closely with experienced quant researchers, building sophisticated execution logic. If you love solving complex problems, thinking from the first principle and building high-performance systems, this is the right place for you.

What You'll Learn & Do:

• Improve upon our existing low latency execution framework (C++)
• Understand various strategies and research on highly optimized specific execution ideas.
• Get an understanding of how algorithms interact with the exchange and how to efficiently trade with minimal market impacts.
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to building high performance systems.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms.
• A knack for problem solving.
• Familiarity with C++, Python
• Basic ability to write bash scripts and extract analytics from log files
• Exposure to Git or any version control system
• Ability to work in a team and communicate ideas clearly
• Interest in understanding market dynamics and quant finance

Bonus Points (Nice to Have):

• A good competitive programming experience
• Exposure to Unix/Linux systems and scripting
• Awareness of how trading or finance systems work
• Basic understanding of orderbook dynamics
