We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and MongoDB. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs for enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable, loosely coupled Microservices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Work extensively with MongoDB, including data modelling, aggregation, indexing and query optimization.
• Develop reusable services and common components.
• Implement inter-service communication using REST APIs or messaging platforms.
• Participate in application architecture and technical-design discussions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security and reliability.
• Write clean, testable and maintainable code following SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, application deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 8/11/17 or later versions.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Proven experience in Microservices architecture and development.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
• Good understanding of MongoDB data modelling, indexes and aggregation pipelines.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with exception handling, logging and API security.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience using Git and Maven or Gradle.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Docker and cloud-based deployments.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
