ConnectX Events is an event management company specializing in luxury weddings, destination weddings, corporate events, and premium celebrations. We work closely with clients, hotels, venues, and industry partners to create seamless and memorable event experiences.

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Events Sales Manager who can generate new business, build strong client relationships, and convert qualified opportunities into confirmed events.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities for luxury weddings, destination weddings, corporate events and social events.
• Handle incoming enquiries and convert qualified leads into confirmed business.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
• Conduct client meetings, understand event requirements, budgets and expectations, and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations and commercial offers in coordination with the internal team.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and drive opportunities from initial enquiry to closure.
• Develop relationships with corporates, hotels, venues, wedding industry partners, agencies and other referral networks.
• Identify opportunities for venue bookings, event planning services and other ConnectX offerings.
• Negotiate commercials while maintaining company profitability and service standards.
• Coordinate with the Events & Operations team for a smooth handover once the event is confirmed.
• Maintain updated sales pipeline, follow-ups and client information in the CRM.
• Work towards monthly and quarterly revenue and closure targets.
• Develop repeat business and referrals from existing clients and industry relationships.
• Represent ConnectX Events at networking events, industry events, hotel meetings and client meetings.

Who We Are Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Event Sales, Hospitality Sales, Wedding Sales, Corporate Sales or a related industry.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in the event industry, luxury hotels, hospitality, wedding companies or experiential agencies.
• Candidates with an existing corporate and industry network will be preferred.
• Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand premium and HNI client expectations.
• Strong follow-up discipline and ability to independently manage a sales pipeline.
• Comfortable working with targets and taking ownership of revenue.
• Good understanding of event costing, proposals and commercial negotiations is preferred.
• Candidates available for immediate or early joining will be preferred.

What Success Looks Like

The Events Sales Manager will be expected to consistently build a healthy sales pipeline, improve enquiry-to-closure conversion, acquire new corporate and wedding clients, develop strong industry relationships, and contribute directly to ConnectX Events monthly revenue growth.
